Southern Industrial Fabrics is committed to using environmentally sound and sustainable textile raw materials and production processes whenever possible. Some of our textile are made from recycled cotton and polyester. Others are produced using 100% post-consumer polyester. Our objective is to keep these waste materials out of our landfills and to re-purpose them for another consumer use cycle.With our partners we continue to develop new 'green' fabrics to meet our customers' needs. Our textiles are Made in America, which means that not only is transportation time and cost reduced, but that the ecological cost of delivery to you is considerably less to all of us.
At Southern Industrial Fabrics, we are working hard to protect the environment:
1) Our machines employ energy saving capacitors that lower energy consumption.
2) Paperboard boxes are reused in our internal operations and recycled properly when they are no longer usable.
3) Recycled/refurbished pallets are used by our shipping department.
4) Fabrics are rolled onto paperboard tubes that are previously used in the carpet industry.
